Appalachian Assistive Technology Loan Fund (AATLF) is a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities, families, and older adults finance the assistive technology devices and services that improve the quality of their lives.

Due to current funding uncertainties, AATLF is shifting its focus to ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission. Starting February 1, 2026, new loan applications will be restricted to Kentucky residents meeting low-to-moderate income guidelines.
To determine eligibility, AATLF will use the higher of the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s income threshold or the resident’s specific county limit.
